Assessment Tasks

Copy and paste from the following data to produce each assessment task. Write these in plain English and spell out how, when and where the task is to be carried out, under what conditions, and what resources are needed. Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.
Copy and paste from the following performance criteria to create an observation checklist for each task. When you have finished writing your assessment tool every one of these must have been addressed, preferably several times in a variety of contexts. Establish features of product, plant or equipment design specification likely to generate noise and vibration 
Confirm technical, commercial and environmental parameters of the brief or contract 
Determine stakeholders to be consulted in design process 
Assess work health and safety (WHS), regulatory, sustainability or environmental regulations and issues relevant to noise and vibration mitigation design task 
Confirm design brief, including budget and schedule, and provide preliminary advice on feasibility 
Appraise initial qualitative and quantitative analysis of the design task using appropriate equipment and techniques 
Carry out required modelling and calculations using appropriate software and validation techniques 
Generate noise and vibration mitigation solutions that respond to the design brief 
Check feasibility and evaluate solutions against design criteria, ensuring conformity to standards and codes, technical, economic and WHS requirements 
Determine social and sustainability implications of solutions 
Present concept proposals to client 
Evaluate concept proposals with client and select preferred solution 
Ensure that design solution is optimised with respect to the noise and vibration mitigation design task 
Finalise noise and vibration mitigation design and ensure preparation of all required documentation, drawings, specifications and instructions 
Consult with client and stakeholders to obtain sign-off on design 
Monitor installation and commissioning with stakeholders and make any necessary adjustments to design
